Avec un taux de charge aux alentours de 27% (2400 heures\/an), l&#039;\u00e9nergie annuelle produite de l&#039;ordre de 2 millions de MWh, participera \u00e0 l&#039;alimentation en \u00e9nergie d\u00e9carbon\u00e9e de la C\u00f4te Ouest des Etats-Unis via la Southern California Edison en particulier.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9olienne de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 aimants permanents et sans multiplicateur, est appel\u00e9e \u00e0 remplacer le standard actuel de 1,5 MW dont, pour l&#039;instant, 12000 exemplaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s sur sites par GE. Elle sera produite en Floride \u00e0 Pensacola.
