Celle des engagements des dirigeants chinois sur les futures \u00e9missions de CO2 et autres GHG de leur vaste pays est du m\u00eame niveau de complexit\u00e9. &quot;China will reduce the greenhouse gas intensity per Yuan of its GDP by 40% to 45% in 2020 compared to 2005.&quot; Cela veut-il dire que les \u00e9missions de CO2 de la Chine vont baisser? Seuls les na\u00effs peuvent le croire.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9missions de CO2 en 2005 \u00e9taient voisines de 6 milliards de tonnes et nous allons supposer le PIB=100 \u00e0 cette date. En prenant une croissance moyenne du PIB chinois de 7% par an jusqu&#039;en 2020 nous arrivons \u00e0 une valeur de ce dernier de 276 (base 100 en 2005). Le ratio \u00e9missions\/PIB qui \u00e9tait de 6\/100 en 2005 devra \u00eatre ramen\u00e9 en 2020 \u00e0 55% de cette valeur, dans l&#039;hypoth\u00e8se d&#039;une r\u00e9duction de 45%, soit 3,3\/100. En multipliant ce ratio par la valeur du PIB en 2020 nous arrivons \u00e0 un niveau d&#039;\u00e9missions de CO2 de 9 milliards de tonnes (FIG.).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e2012875f16248970c-pi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Chine-Copenhague-2009\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e2012875f16248970c \" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e2012875f16248970c-450wi.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Il est clair que si le PIB de la Chine \u00e9volue en moyenne de 7% par an, la population mondiale m\u00e9dus\u00e9e n&#039;observera au mieux qu&#039;une timide r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de CO2 chinoises vers 2015, apr\u00e8s qu&#039;elles aient atteint sinon d\u00e9pass\u00e9 les 10 milliards de tonnes de rejets. Ce sc\u00e9nario est malheureusement assez r\u00e9aliste sinon tr\u00e8s contraignant par rapport \u00e0 ce qui se passe aujourd&#039;hui, p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 le charbon chinois&#160;br\u00fble \u00e0 tous vents.<\/p>\n<p>En d&#039;autres termes r\u00e9duire l&#039;intensit\u00e9 d&#039;\u00e9mission des GHG de 45% en 15 ans cela revient \u00e0 la&#160;faire baisser&#160;en moyenne de 4% par an (racine quinzi\u00e8me de 0.55 = 0.961).
