Le CARB part d&#039;une constatation tr\u00e8s simple: la seule g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation \u00e0 l&#039;horizon 2030 de la technologie hybride actuelle, sur le mod\u00e8le de la Prius, conduirait les \u00e9missions moyennes en CO2 des v\u00e9hicules commercialis\u00e9s de 338 g\/miles (210 g\/km) aujourd&#039;hui \u00e0 175 g\/miles (109 g\/km) en 2030. Ceci ne satisfait pas \u00e0 l&#039;objectif fix\u00e9 pour 2050, de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de CO2 de 80% par rapport \u00e0 celles de 1990 (FIG.I). Il est donc n\u00e9cessaire que d\u00e8s 2030, une large part des nouveaux mod\u00e8les commercialis\u00e9s soit de la classe &quot;Zero Emission Vehicle&quot; ou ZEV. Or, compte tenu de l&#039;inertie observ\u00e9e dans la mise sur le march\u00e9 d&#039;une nouvelle technologie, c&#039;est d\u00e8s aujourd&#039;hui qu&#039;il faut encourager l&#039;\u00e9mergence des ZEV. Le CARB va donc engager une nouvelle proc\u00e9dure pour infl\u00e9chir ses r\u00e8glements en 2010 pour faire en sorte de favoriser l&#039;\u00e9mergence des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batteries (BEV) et \u00e0 Piles \u00e0 Combustibles (FCEV).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>FIG. A partir de cette date tous les v\u00e9hicules commercialis\u00e9s seraient ZEV aliment\u00e9s par des batteries rechargeables ou des PAC (FIG.II).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>FIG. II pour atteindre l&#039;objectif en 2050 de faibles rejets, il faudra que les mod\u00e8les de voitures \u00e0 moteurs thermiques ne soient plus commercialis\u00e9s en Californie en 2040<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e2012875e245cf970c-pi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"CARB-ZEV-2009-2050\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e2012875e245cf970c \" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e2012875e245cf970c-450wi.jpg\" \/><\/a> <br \/>De telles hypoth\u00e8ses, m\u00eame si elles apparaissent assez iconoclastes aujourd&#039;hui, incitent \u00e0 penser que la r\u00e9volution des transports est en marche. Des Etats en pointes comme la Californie peuvent avoir 10 \u00e0 20 ans d&#039;avance sur ce qui se g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisera plus tard \u00e0 l&#039;ensemble des Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>Il est possible que dans 20 ans le march\u00e9 de la voiture aux Etats-Unis soit partag\u00e9 en quatre parts \u00e9gales entre technologie conventionnelle, technologie hybride, technologie Plug-in et purs v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.
