Ni le Minist\u00e8re de l&#039;Industrie, ni&#160;EDF EN n&#039;ont d\u00fb lire le rapport puisque c&#039;est FirstSolar le leader am\u00e9ricain et mondial des modules en couche mince au CdTe qui vient d&#039;\u00eatre choisi pour venir s&#039;implanter en France, avec une usine de 100 MW. La raison principale: le prix de revient tr\u00e8s bas des produits faisant appel \u00e0 cette technologie parfaitement ma\u00eetris\u00e9e. FirstSolar se targue de pouvoir faire descendre&#160;le prix de revient de ses modules \u00e0 0,93 $ le watt ce qui lui permet de peser sur les prix de March\u00e9 tout en restant profitable et en mettant ses concurrents dans le rouge. FirstSolar poss\u00e8de des unit\u00e9s de production aux Etats-Unis, en Allemagne&#160;et en Malaisie. Cette technologie pr\u00e9sente de nombreux autres avantages en particulier celui d&#039;\u00eatre plus efficace que d&#039;autres en lumi\u00e8re diffuse (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstsolar.com\/technology.php?langid=fr\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"FirstSolar techno\">LIRE<\/a>) ce qui est tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 des op\u00e9rateurs. Tout cela explique que FirstSolar est aujourd&#039;hui le N\u00b01 mondial du photovolta\u00efque, ce qu&#039;il revendique, avec une capacit\u00e9 globale de production de l&#039;ordre d&#039;un GW.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; Le deal entre EDF EN et FirstSolar repose sur une participation importante (50%) du premier&#160;\u00e0 l&#039;investissement en \u00e9change d&#039;un accord de fourniture exclusive \u00e0 long terme (10 ans)&#160;et s\u00fbrement \u00e0 des prix tr\u00e8s \u00e9tudi\u00e9s. Un tel accord mettra EDF EN en tr\u00e8s bonne position pour challenger ses concurrents sur des appels d&#039;offres de&#160;fermes solaires en Europe. Il permet d&#039;autre part \u00e0 FirstSolar d&#039;accro\u00eetre ses capacit\u00e9s mondiales de production \u00e0 moindre co\u00fbt.
