Il va n\u00e9cessiter d&#039;investir dans de nouveaux modes de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&#039;<span style=\"color: #0000bf\"><strong>\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de base<\/strong><\/span> que seules les centrales \u00e0 flammes sont \u00e0 m\u00eame de produire en larges quantit\u00e9s. Les \u00e9nergies r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 partir des centrales au fil de l&#039;eau ou de la g\u00e9othermie apr\u00e8s fracturation des roches profondes ne conduisant qu&#039;\u00e0 des quantit\u00e9s d&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 anecdotiques. Ceci implique de massives importations de gaz naturel (russe), de charbon (australien, africain, am\u00e9ricain) ou de consommer l&#039;abondant lignite local afin de sauvegarder la croissance \u00e9conomique du pays.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20153929200e4970b-pi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"MHI-IGCC-lignitec\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e20153929200e4970b\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20153929200e4970b-450wi.jpg\" style=\"width: 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#160;Le lignite (brown coal), forme interm\u00e9diaire du processus de formation du charbon, est tr\u00e8s abondant sur Terre (FIG., part rose des camemberts). L&#039;Europe et l&#039;Australie sont en particulier bien pourvues en cette ressource \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. C&#039;est donc une source d&#039;\u00e9nergie qui va \u00eatre all\u00e8grement consomm\u00e9e dans les d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 venir et qui, de ce fait, m\u00e9rite une indispensable optimisation des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de mise en oeuvre dans les centrales \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;La voie \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier est celle de la gaz\u00e9ification int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 cycle combin\u00e9 (IGCC) qui permet de faire fonctionner des turbines \u00e0 gaz (H2 +CO2) \u00e0 tr\u00e8s hautes temp\u00e9ratures (1600\u00b0C aujourd&#039;hui et 1700\u00b0C dans dix ans) avec des rendements \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques par rapport au gaz inject\u00e9 d\u00e9passant les 60%.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20162fbe75d8d970d-pi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"MHI-IGCC-ligniteb\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e20162fbe75d8d970d\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20162fbe75d8d970d-450wi.jpg\" style=\"width: 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#160;Les grands de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e9lectrique (GE, Siemens, MHI, etc.) travaillent activement sur ce sujet. On pourra LIRE une mise au point r\u00e9cente r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par le japonais MHI qui montre qu&#039;il est possible de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO2 de 1100 kg de CO2 par MWh d&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans les centrales classiques au lignite (rendement autour des 30%) vers des valeurs de 700 kg de CO2 par MWh par ces proc\u00e9d\u00e9s \u00e9labor\u00e9s (FIG.III). L&#039;IGCC coupl\u00e9e au lignite doit permettre de pouvoir obtenir des rendements et des \u00e9missions de CO2 proches de ceux des centrales modernes au charbon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e201543665b3d6970c-pi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"MHI-IGCC-lignite\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e201543665b3d6970c\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e201543665b3d6970c-450wi.jpg\" style=\"width: 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Une remarque importante: la France ne dispose pas de tr\u00e8s grands gisements de lignite. Pr\u00e9cautionneusement hostile au gaz de schistes, en cas de d\u00e9cision politique d&#039;un abandon de la fili\u00e8re nucl\u00e9aire, il ne lui resterait comme solution \u00e9conomique de base que le biogaz issu de la valorisation des d\u00e9jections de ses nombreux ruminants pour s&#039;\u00e9clairer: un vrai retour \u00e0 la nature.
