Des \u00e9tudes sont men\u00e9es \u00e0 la fois aux Etats-Unis, en particulier en collaboration avec le&#160;DOE (<a href=\"http:\/\/www1.eere.energy.gov\/industry\/intensiveprocesses\/pdfs\/organic_rankine_cycle.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"GE ORC\">LIRE<\/a>)&#160;et en Allemagne, \u00e0 Munich,&#160;par les \u00e9quipes de&#160;GE Global Research. C&#039;est cette \u00e9quipe bavaroise qui veut tester en vraie grandeur les derniers perfectionnements apport\u00e9s \u00e0 cette technologie dans une&#160;centrale slov\u00e8ne de 7 MW &#160;fonctionnant au biogaz et \u00e9quip\u00e9e de trois turbines Jenbacher de&#160;2,4MW.&#160;L&#039;objectif est de placer une boucle ORC&#160;sur l&#039;un des \u00e9quipements.
