\"Beaucarnea_1\"<\/a> Le Beaucarnea recurvata<\/em> ou pied d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9phant se cultive en int\u00e9rieur sans grande difficult\u00e9. De la famille des Agaves, il est originaire du Mexique, ses longues feuilles ruban\u00e9es et son pied renfl\u00e9 lui donne tout son charme. Il s\u2019utilise toujours en isol\u00e9 car ses besoins en eau sont tr\u00e8s faibles. Et, il ne faut pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 bien laisser ressuyer le terreau entre deux arrosages sous peine de le voir pourrir (ou \u00e0 le prot\u00e9ger de la pluie s\u2019il est conduit en ext\u00e9rieur). Il demande beaucoup de lumi\u00e8re et aime la chaleur (conserver entre 8 et 18 \u00b0c en hiver), de ce fait on peut m\u00eame le planter en pleine terre dans le Midi. Mais le beaucarn\u00e9a n\u2019aime pas le changement, il faut donc le rempoter le moins souvent possible d\u2019autant plus qu\u2019il pr\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00eatre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9troit dans son pot. Si vous devez le rempoter, offrez-lui un pot \u00e0 peine plus grand que le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent et un substrat bien drain\u00e9. <\/span><\/p>\n

En ce qui concerne les soins, il suffit d\u2019enlever les feuilles dess\u00e9ch\u00e9es de la base et \u00e9ventuellement couper les pointes jaunies. Son seul d\u00e9faut est de ne pas pousser beaucoup dans nos maisons (environ 2 \u00e0 2,5 cm par an dans les meilleures conditions), il n\u2019atteindra jamais sa grandeur naturelle (6 \u00e0 9 m), mais d\u00e9passera \u00e0 grand-peine 1 m. <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
