Comme la plupart des plantes tropicales elle appr\u00e9cie les expositions tr\u00e8s lumineuses, surtout en hiver, mais sans soleil direct et les atmosph\u00e8res \u00e0 la fois chaudes (18 \u00e0 20\u00b0C) et tr\u00e8s humides.<\/p>\n

Comme l‘orchid\u00e9e<\/a>, c’est une plante \u00e9piphyte; elle vit dans la nature sur les branches des arbres ou sur tout autre support, mais pas \u00e0 leurs d\u00e9pens, ce qui la diff\u00e9rencie en cela des plantes parasites; <\/p>\n

Elle a donc besoin pour vivre d’ un m\u00e9lange acide compos\u00e9 de terreau d’\u00e9corces, de tourbe blonde et de terre de bruy\u00e8re pour recr\u00e9er au plus pr\u00e8s son milieu naturel. Rempotez-la tous les 2 ans en f\u00e9vrier, au red\u00e9marrage de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation.<\/p>\n
