\"Arbousier_fleurs_fruits_mvc093f\"<\/a> L’arbousier (arbutus unedo), connu aussi sous le nom d’"arbre aux fraises", pousse naturellement dans le maquis m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en<\/a> mais se cultive bien au-del\u00e0, notamment sur le littoral atlantique.<\/p>\n

D’un int\u00e9r\u00eat plut\u00f4t d\u00e9coratif, ses fruits rouges et jaune-orang\u00e9 \u00e0 la peau granuleuse, sont du plus bel effet sur fond de feuillage verniss\u00e9; leur go\u00fbt, par contre, est fade et laisse une sensation \u00e2pre et r\u00e2peuse. On ne les utilise gu\u00e8re que pour la fabrication des confitures et de la liqueur d’arbouse.<\/p>\n

Autre atout de ce bel arbuste, une floraison en grapillons de petites fleurs blanc-vert en m\u00eame temps que les fruits (de la saison pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, devenus m\u00fbrs) qui lui donnent un petit air d’"arbre de no\u00ebl", boules et luminions compris. Ajoutez \u00e0 cela une forme un peu tortur\u00e9e et une belle \u00e9corce brune qui s’exfolie naturellement et vous serez impatients de planter cette curiosit\u00e9 pleine de charme et d’exotisme.<\/p>\n

L’arbousier se plait naturellement en climat doux, jusqu’en r\u00e9gion parisienne. Plantez-le dans un sol bien drain\u00e9, fertile m\u00eame un peu calcaire, \u00e0 l’abri du vent, en plein soleil; il vous faudra \u00eatre patients, sa croissance est lente et il lui faudra plusieurs ann\u00e9es avant de donner des fruits. <\/p>\n

Seul inconv\u00e9nient \u00e0 noter, le danger de ces petits fruits rouges, qui \u00e0 pleine maturit\u00e9 jonchent le sol, s’\u00e9crasent sous nos pas, nous entrainant, \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr, dans d’incontr\u00f4lables et p\u00e9rilleuses glissades… <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
