Il nous vient d’Inde et de Chine, a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit en Europe au XVI \u00e8me si\u00e8cle et depuis a conquis grand nombre de passionn\u00e9s de plantes.
  Roses-mauves, blancs, bleus, rouges, les p\u00e9tales entourent un coeur au ton plus vif d’o\u00f9 se dresse un pistil bien voyant. Vous avez le choix entre les vari\u00e9t\u00e9s<\/a> \u00e0 fleurs simples et celles \u00e0 fleurs doubles, toutes s’\u00e9panouissent de juillet \u00e0 octobre.<\/p>\n

Cet hibiscus<\/a> se plait dans tous les sols, il s’accommode \u00e9galement d’une terre calcaire. Vous pouvez l’installer en isol\u00e9 dans une pelouse, ou dans un massif, regrouper quelques pieds pour constituer un bosquet ou une haie libre, il pousse aussi tr\u00e9s bien en bac \u00e0 condition que celui-ci soit assez grand. Vous voyez, tout lui convient!
Plant\u00e9 au soleil, il pousse rapidement et doit \u00eatre taill\u00e9<\/a> apr\u00e9s la floraison, vous pouvez m\u00eame lui faire une taille s\u00e9v\u00e8re il la supportera et cela lui \u00e9vitera de se d\u00e9garnir de la base.<\/p>\n

Vous voulez faire des boutures? En fin d’\u00e9t\u00e9, coupez un rameau d’une dizaine de centim\u00e8tres (pousse d’extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 qui n’a pas fleuri) \u00f4tez les feuilles sauf les deux terminales et plantez votre bout de tige dans un m\u00e9lange de tourbe et de sable, arrosez et laissez votre bouture \u00e0 l’abri.
