\"Ceanothe\"<\/a> Je sais, les c\u00e9anothes ne sont pas cens\u00e9s fleurir au coeur de l’hiver mais celui-ci, rencontr\u00e9 dans un parc a attir\u00e9 mon oeil avec son beau coloris bleu<\/a> et je ne r\u00e9siste pas au plaisir de vous le faire d\u00e9couvrir car il est bien en avance dans sa floraison.<\/p>\n

Les c\u00e9anothes<\/a> sont des arbustes de la famille des rhamanac\u00e9es<\/a> qui compte 55 esp\u00e8ces, certaines sont \u00e0 feuillage caduc, d’autres \u00e0 feuillage persistant.<\/p>\n

Import\u00e9 en Europe au tout d\u00e9but du 18 \u00e8me si\u00e8cle, le premier c\u00e9anothe \u00e9tait blanc, un si\u00e8cle apr\u00e8s le ceanothe bleu arrivait sur notre continent et permettait les hybridations.<\/p>\n

C’est un bel arbuste au port buissonnant ou \u00e9tal\u00e9, il convient en isol\u00e9, en bordure, en rocaille, en bac. Sa floraison est importante et ses fleurs regroup\u00e9es en panicules masquent pratiquement le feuillage. Il est en fleurs au printemps pour la variet\u00e9 \u00e0 feuillage persistant et en \u00e9t\u00e9 pour la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 feuillage caduc.<\/p>\n

Plantez-le en sol ordinaire mais non calcaire dans un endroit abrit\u00e9 du vent et du soleil br\u00fblant, la mi-ombre lui convient parfaitement.<\/p>\n

Question toujours pos\u00e9e, faut-il le tailler ? Ce n’est pas indispensable mais il faut veiller \u00e0 lui garder un port trapu, quelques petits coups de s\u00e9cateurs apr\u00e8s la floraison vous y aideront.<\/p>\n

Ces arbustes ne sont pas tr\u00e8s rustiques. Ceux qui r\u00e9sistent le mieux au froid sont les c\u00e9anothes \u00e0 feuillage caduc mais ils sont g\u00e9lifs<\/a> au del\u00e0 de -7 degr\u00e9s, prot\u00e9gez-les du froid.<\/p>\n

Ils ne vivent pas tr\u00e9s vieux, mais 10 ans c’est d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien, alors pensez \u00e0 leur renouvellement .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
