Ces comp\u00e9titions ont leur charme, un charme certes tr\u00e8s rustique, mais les machines poss\u00e8dent leurs caract\u00e9ristiques techniques propres, voire pittoresques mais toujours int\u00e9ressantes. Qui plus est, nulle autre discipline des sports m\u00e9cas ne vous permettra d&rsquo;approcher la quintessence de la vitesse.  <\/p>\n<p>Normal, les conditions r\u00e9unies pour la pratique sont, \u00e0 la base: Un moteur \u00e0 explosion ou \u00e0 r\u00e9action. Pos\u00e9 sur deux, trois ou quatre roues. Et une piste, de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence celle d&rsquo;un a\u00e9roport d\u00e9saffect\u00e9, ou l&rsquo;\u00e9tendue d\u00e9serte d&rsquo;un lac sal\u00e9 (Bonneville, USA, par exemple).<\/p>\n<p>Mais rien ne sert de courir sans cette fameuse wheelie bar donc. Ce dispositif de stabilisation muni de petites roues \u00e0 ses extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s, est en effet destin\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9viter que l&rsquo;avant du dragster (moto ou auto d&rsquo;ailleurs) ne se l\u00e8ve trop, et surtout ne parte en roue arri\u00e8re (un <em>wheelie<\/em>), en faisant un &quot;soleil&quot;, se retournant sur le dos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogmoto\/files\/2012\/07\/vrod_1300_destroyer__2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"163\"  alt=\"Vrod_1300_destroyer__2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/images\/2007\/10\/30\/vrod_1300_destroyer__2.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Ici c&rsquo;est le V-rod Screaming Eagle Destroyer et ses 1300cc de &quot;moulbif&quot; qui en est \u00e9quip\u00e9e. Une superbe machine accessible en th\u00e9orie \u00e0 toutes et tous, car en vente dans certaines concessions Harley. C&rsquo;est une <em>drag bike<\/em> tr\u00e8s \u00e9pur\u00e9e (pardon pour le pl\u00e9onasme), sans ses &quot;cliquos&quot;, ni phares, amortissement arri\u00e8re et \u00e9chappement (et les normes Euro3 alors !?), car jug\u00e9s trop lourds.
