Elle a pris la forme d&rsquo;un retrait pur et simple de la demande de la Dorna (qui exploite les droits du MotoGP, un peu comme la FOM de Bernie Ecclestone pour la F1) aupr\u00e8s de la GP Commission. Carmelo Ezpeleta* esp\u00e9rait voir courir Vale en Bridgestone, mettant la sup\u00e9riorit\u00e9 de Casey Stoner sur le compte des gommes. Comme on va le voir, c&rsquo;est aller un peu vite en besogne&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>Et beaucoup comme lui pensent que la qualit\u00e9 du spectacle serait meilleure, voire plus juste, si tout le plateau \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9 des m\u00eames pneumatiques. <\/p>\n<p>D&rsquo;autres plus pragmatiques, pensent que cette proposition n&rsquo;avait pas pour but d&rsquo;aboutir, et n&rsquo;\u00e9tait qu&rsquo;une menace voil\u00e9e for\u00e7ant Bridgestone \u00e0 fournir (exclusivement) Valentino Rossi avec ses gommes en 2008. &quot;Exclusivement&quot;, car son futur co\u00e9quipier Jorge Lorenzo demeurerait en Michelin. Situation ubuesque s&rsquo;il en est ! Le fait que cette demande, ait surgi officiellement et brusquement au Japon fin septembre, et qu&rsquo;elle soit retir\u00e9e avant avis de la commission, leur donne \u00e0 mon avis raison.<\/p>\n<p>Mais croire en un \u00e9quilibre de la comp\u00e9tition par les trains de pneus, c&rsquo;est oublier la qualit\u00e9 moteur et cycle de la Ducati, sa vitesse de pointe (m\u00eame si les Honda ont nettement combl\u00e9 leur retard, 2 km\/h de diff\u00e9rence \u00e0 Sepang entre les Ducat et les Honda en vitesse max). <\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est oublier <em>surtout <\/em>que le Casey Stoner version 2007, n&rsquo;est plus le Casey Stoner de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, qui \u00e9tait plus proche de R\u00e9my Julienne que de Mick Doohan, avec plus de vingt chutes (!) au compteur sur toute la saison. Signe que lui aussi a accompli sa r\u00e9volution et pas seulement sa monture.<\/p>\n<p>Il reste que le patron de Bridgestone MotoGP Hiroshi Yamada a affirm\u00e9 lors du week-end malais que sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 avait \u00e9t\u00e9 approch\u00e9e par la Dorna pour fournir Rossi.
