Comme ce fut le cas pour Max Biaggi lorsqu&rsquo;il y d\u00e9barqua, apr\u00e8s s&rsquo;\u00eatre vu refuser une place en MotoGP, avec \u00e0 la cl\u00e9 une ann\u00e9e sabbatique. <\/p>\n<p>Il faut dire qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque en raison de son caract\u00e8re et de ses pr\u00e9tentions financi\u00e8res, Max s&rsquo;\u00e9tait mis \u00e0 dos l&rsquo;ensemble des teams (et accessoirement, avait menac\u00e9 de publier un livre de r\u00e9v\u00e9lations sur les &quot;dessous&quot; du circuit). Ou encore r\u00e9cemment, pour parler d&rsquo;autres Sports M\u00e9ca, Ralf Schumacher affirmant avoir besoin d&rsquo;un nouveau &quot;challenge&quot;, alors que Toyota lui montre aimablement la porte de sortie.<\/p>\n<p>Il reste qu&rsquo;\u00e0 d\u00e9faut d&rsquo;avoir le g\u00e9nie du pilotage de certains sur le plateau, Carlos Checa est un pilote tr\u00e8s talentueux et s\u00e9rieux, sa longue carri\u00e8re le prouve, l&rsquo;un des rois des accessits (approcha souvent de la victoire mais \u00e9choua en raison de chutes), pas si g\u00e2t\u00e9 que cela (gravement bless\u00e9 \u00e0 Donnington en 98), et qui avait manifest\u00e9 son d\u00e9sir de rester dans la cat\u00e9gorie-reine la saison prochaine. <\/p>\n<p>Il a peut-\u00eatre \u00e9t\u00e9 pi\u00e9g\u00e9 par le peu d&rsquo;options qu&rsquo;il lui restait, la quasi totalit\u00e9 des teams ayant annonc\u00e9 leur line-up pour 2008.
