Le probl\u00e8me avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9j\u00e0 soulev\u00e9 avant l&rsquo;ouverture du Championnat par Kenny Roberts Senior, lui-m\u00eame inquiet pour sa propre \u00e9quipe au moment o\u00f9 Illien songeait d\u00e9j\u00e0 a jeter l\u2019\u00e9ponge. Le retrait de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe Ilmor intervient au moment o\u00f9 la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dorna.com\/\">DORNA <\/a>et les team-managers se r\u00e9unissent justement autour de la question cruciale du sponsoring. Un probl\u00e8me qui ne touche pas que les petites structures si l&rsquo;on se souvient des difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9es par <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2007\/03\/motogp_yamaha_r.html\">Yamaha avant de signer enfin avec Fiat<\/a>. Il nous est apparu que la meilleure solution, pour la survie m\u00eame du projet, \u00e9tait de mettre la comp\u00e9tition de c\u00f4t\u00e9 et de poursuivre le d\u00e9veloppement\u00a0\u00bb a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 le patron du team.<\/p>\n<p> C\u2019est un coup dur pour les pilotes maison, une nouvelle douche froide apr\u00e8s le calamiteux <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2007\/03\/moto_gp_casey_s.html\">GP du Qatar<\/a> o\u00f9 Jeremy McWilliams avait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 forfait et <a href=\"http:\/\/www.andrew-pitt.com\/\">Andrew Pitt<\/a> contraint \u00e0 l\u2019abandon au dix-septi\u00e8me tour.<\/p>\n<p> Mais Mario Ellien&nbsp; ne leur fait aucun reproche, au contraire : \u00a0\u00bbNous avons une bonne \u00e9quipe qui a travaill\u00e9 tr\u00e8s dur ces derniers mois. Les deux pilotes, Jeremy McWilliams et Andrew Pitt, ont donn\u00e9 le meilleur d&rsquo;eux-m\u00eames durant une difficile p\u00e9riode de d\u00e9veloppement.
