Cette piste de course perdue au milieu de 5000km\u00b2 d&rsquo;espace a \u00e9galement permis d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir la vitesse moyenne de ce record \u00e0 299km\/h. Pas mal !<\/p>\n<p>Pour information, la moto qui a servi \u00e0 \u00e9tablir cette performance est une moto d&rsquo;usine ! Une &quot;banale&quot; F4-1000R&#8230; A la suite de la session, les ing\u00e9nieurs ont enregistr\u00e9 une puissance maxi de 174ch. Roosevelt Lackey, le pilote, a quant \u00e0 lui d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la moto n&rsquo;avait aucun point faible, qu&rsquo;elle r\u00e9agissait exactement comme il voulait et qu&rsquo;il l&rsquo;aimait comme elle \u00e9tait. C&rsquo;est bon \u00e0 savoir, surtout \u00e0 ces vitesses extr\u00eames&#8230; Autre point positif, c&rsquo;est la premi\u00e8re fois que la firme italienne se livre \u00e0 ce genre d&rsquo;exercice. Les d\u00e9buts \u00e9tant donc plus que prometteurs, Cagiva USA, le distibuteur officiel de MV Agusta aux Etats-Unis, aurait l&rsquo;intention de se pencher sur l&rsquo;homologation de la machine pour le championnat Superstock de 2007.
