Nous devions d\u2019abord rejoindre 35 bahuts regroup\u00e9s \u00e0 Lyon puis traverser toute l\u2019Europe en convoi. Un m\u00e9ga cirque Barnum&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Elle nous accueillit en foule, grise, timide, voire timor\u00e9e, mais aussi enthousiaste. Des gamins nous bloquaient sur la route pour \u00e9crire simplement avec leurs doigts crasseux, sur la poussi\u00e8re qui couvrait les camions : &quot; Vive la France ! &quot; certains chantaient la Marseillaise. <\/p>\n<p>Profitant du bla-bla politico-m\u00e9diatique organis\u00e9 \u00e0 Lyon, j\u2019ai t\u00e9l\u00e9phon\u00e9 \u00e0 la FFM pour avoir les coordonn\u00e9es de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration moto roumaine (FRM). Id\u00e9e saugrenue ! la secr\u00e9taire, du bout des l\u00e8vres me l\u00e2cha, sous toutes r\u00e9serves, un nr de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone dont elle me pr\u00e9cisa qu\u2019elle n\u2019\u00e9tait pas certaine qu\u2019il exista encore, comme elle doutait aussi que cette f\u00e9d\u00e9ration moto ait surv\u00e9cu au r\u00e9gime Ceaucescu : plus aucune nouvelles depuis 4 ans ! On verra bien \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Des 4X4 rutilants du Comit\u00e9 International de la Croix Rouge (CICR) exclusivement occup\u00e9s par des citoyens helv\u00e9tiques \u00e9taient cens\u00e9s nous encadrer pour nous ouvrir une route qu\u2019ils connaissaient moins bien que la majorit\u00e9 des chauffeurs. <br \/>R\u00e9sultat : maxi gal\u00e8re, et 10 jours pour faire 3000 km que je parcourais plus tard en une quarantaine d\u2019heures. <\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e0 cette occasion que j\u2019ai compris qu\u2019un convoi exc\u00e9dant 3 v\u00e9hicules perd environ 10 minutes par v\u00e9hicule suppl\u00e9mentaire (panne, arr\u00eat pipi, gueule de bois, \u00e9carts d\u2019humeur etc) De plus, comme les copains des camions avaient tous des CB et ne se g\u00eanaient pas pour s\u2019en servir (quoi de plus normal, c\u2019\u00e9tait une premi\u00e8re en Europe de l\u2019Est ! )<br \/>les flics Yougoslaves, paranos, l\u2019avaient tr\u00e8s mal pris et nous ont encadr\u00e9 avec des fourgons h\u00e9riss\u00e9s d\u2019antennes qui ne d\u00e9passaient pas les 30 km heure. On a pu admirer le paysage !<\/p>\n<p>Jacques, le chauffeur de l\u2019Iv\u00e9co ari\u00e9geois, \u00e9tait un habitu\u00e9 de la ligne Toulouse-Istamboul. Quand nous sommes pass\u00e9s au nord de Sarajevo, il a dit d\u2019un ton angoiss\u00e9 et accusateur: <br \/>&quot; dans cette ville, il y \u00e0 des armes partout ; PARTOUT ! ! ! et ils se ha\u00efssent ! ! ! <br \/>Ca va p\u00e9ter bient\u00f4t et personne ne fait rien &quot; <br \/>Malheureusement, il ne se trompait pas ; plus fort que les diplomates ce mec l\u00e0!<\/p>\n<p>Ultime \u00e9tape en Bulgarie o\u00f9 une bagarre g\u00e9n\u00e9rale fut \u00e9vit\u00e9e de justesse entre les chauffeurs et des mafieux locaux pour une sombre histoire de regard mal plac\u00e9. Les bulgares sont durs et nous \u00e9tions tous \u00e0 crans.
