Tout au plus appara\u00eessait-il comme un outsider s\u00e9rieux avec une <strong>HONDA<\/strong> certes vaillante mais un ton en dessous de ses rivales japonaises. <\/p>\n<p>Le trio <strong>PROTAT-FOUR-RIBALTA<\/strong> n&rsquo;avait pas non plus le cachet des autres \u00e9quipages dont certains alignaient des pilotes de GP en mal de reconversion. <\/p>\n<p>Mais, LE MANS reste LE MANS, et c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;osmose qui a pr\u00e9valu. <strong>SUZUKI <\/strong>s&rsquo;est \u00e9puis\u00e9 dans sa bataille avec <strong>YAMAHA<\/strong> jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 y laisser sa m\u00e9canique alors que du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du <strong>GMT 94<\/strong>, il a bien fallu faire avec un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2006\/04\/le_mans_avec_mc.html\">McCOY<\/a> pas du tout au fait de la discipline. Epuis\u00e9, d\u00e9sorient\u00e9, l&rsquo;australien a fini par aller \u00e0 la faute, ob\u00e9rant toutes les chances de succ\u00e8s de la marque aux diapasons. Les deux blasons battus se consolent n\u00e9anmoins avec un podium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HONDA<\/strong> enl\u00e8ve donc le troph\u00e9e. La marque n&rsquo;avait pas triomph\u00e9 sur les terres mancelles depuis 2000. Et pour Christian LAVIEILLE, qui n&rsquo;a jamais pu gagner cette course comme pilote, cet accomplissement comme directeur d&rsquo;\u00e9curie avait un go\u00fbt bien sp\u00e9cial.
