En voici un petit r\u00e9sum\u00e9 pour ceux qui sont allergiques \u00e0 la langue de Shakespeare et\/ou au formalisme des publications scientifiques.<br \/>Y sont compar\u00e9es les \u00e9missions polluantes d&rsquo;une flotte de 17 automobiles \u00e0 essence d&rsquo;une part, et de 8 deux-roues d&rsquo;autre part, suppos\u00e9s repr\u00e9sentatifs du parc suisse en 2002. Tous les v\u00e9hicules sont &quot;dans leur jus&quot;, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire gentiment pr\u00eat\u00e9s par leur propri\u00e9taire pour les besoins de l&rsquo;\u00e9tude, et ne sortent donc pas du camion. Ainsi la flotte de deux-roues se compose de quatre scooters (un 50, deux 125, et un 250) datant de 1995 \u00e0 1998, et de quatre motos (de 600 \u00e0 1150 cm3) datant de 1993 \u00e0 1999.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.shared\/image.html?\/photos\/uncategorized\/acs.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Acs\" src=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/images\/acs.gif\" width=\"250\" height=\"95\"  style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;float: left\" \/><\/a>La m\u00e9thode de mesure retenue se base sur trois cycles distincts : cycle urbain, cycle rural et cycle autoroutier (sauf pour le 50 cm3).<br \/>Les conclusions sont apparemment s\u00e9v\u00e8res pour les deux-roues. Ainsi, leurs \u00e9missions de monoxyde de carbone (CO) sont, selon le cycle consid\u00e9r\u00e9, de 8 \u00e0 39 fois sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles des automobiles. La production d&rsquo;oxydes d&rsquo;azote (NOx) est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e d&rsquo;un facteur variant de 1.7 \u00e0 7.8, et, cerise sur le g\u00e2teau de la pollution, la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;hydrocarbures imbr\u00fbl\u00e9s (HC) qui est rejet\u00e9e est entre 23 et 222 (!) fois plus importante. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogmoto\/files\/2012\/07\/acs2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Acs2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/images\/acs2.gif\" width=\"250\" height=\"113\"  style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;float: left\" \/><\/a>Les auteurs extrapolent ensuite ces r\u00e9sultats pour conclure sur la part des deux-roues dans la pollution <u>totale<\/u> du parc helv\u00e9tique. M\u00eame en tenant compte du nombre restreint de deux-roues et du faible kilom\u00e9trage parcouru par les motards, leur r\u00f4le ne peut alors \u00eatre n\u00e9glig\u00e9, principalement en ce qui concerne le CO et les HC.<\/p>\n<p>Mais j&rsquo;ai (volontairement) laiss\u00e9 de c\u00f4t\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 maintenant un aspect essentiel quand on parle de pollution : le dioxyde de carbone, ou CO2. Les polluants \u00e9voqu\u00e9s plus haut sont \u00e9videmment \u00e0 combattre, parce que nocifs. Le CO2, lui, est un peu \u00e0 part dans le sens o\u00f9 il n&rsquo;est pas directement dangereux pour la sant\u00e9. Mais c&rsquo;est un gaz \u00e0 effet de serre, et \u00e0 ce titre, un des principaux responsables du <a href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/R%C3%A9chauffement_climatique\">r\u00e9chauffement climatique<\/a>. Quand on parle de pollution, aujourd&rsquo;hui, le principal ennemi c&rsquo;est lui. Quand on r\u00e2le contre l&rsquo;administration Bush parce qu&rsquo;elle refuse de ratifier le protocole de Kyoto, c&rsquo;est toujours de lui qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit. Or l&rsquo;\u00e9tude conclut qu&rsquo;un deux-roues rejette en moyenne moiti\u00e9 moins de CO2 qu&rsquo;une voiture. M\u00eame en tenant compte du taux d&rsquo;occupation habituel de ces v\u00e9hicules (environ 1,3 personne par voiture selon les sources), le bilan reste de ce point de vue favorable aux deux-roues.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, les limites de l&rsquo;article viennent de la s\u00e9lection de v\u00e9hicules qui est faite.
