Bien entendu, elle dispose des m\u00eames petites modifications esth\u00e9tiques et techniques que la R normale. Rappelons que les principales diff\u00e9rences entre la R et la R Factory sont les pi\u00e8ces en carbone du car\u00e9nage faisant gagner 4 kg, une fourche avant \u00d6hlins Racing \u2018upside-down\u2019, une suspension arri\u00e8re constitu\u00e9e d&rsquo;un monoamortisseur \u00d6hlins Racing enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9glable, un amortisseur de direction \u00e0 2 pistons et des jantes forg\u00e9es en aluminium qui permettent une r\u00e9duction du poids total de 1 kg et une inertie r\u00e9duite de 25% par rapport aux roues traditionnelles r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par moulage. Seule r\u00e9elle nouveaut\u00e9 pour l\u2019\u00e9dition 2006, le cadre et les jantes peints dans la m\u00eame couleur dor\u00e9e que la fourche.
