Les autres modifications esth\u00e9tiques portent sur l\u2019a\u00e9rodynamique revue afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le refroidissement moteur avec les diff\u00e9rentes ou\u00efes, et la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration dans l\u2019air avec la nouvelle bulle \u00e0 double courbure. A noter aussi l\u2019\u00e9volution anecdotique des motifs des teintes noir\/noir, rouge\/noir et blanc\/noir. C\u00f4t\u00e9 technique, le moteur de la RSV 1000 R gagne quelques chevaux, 4 ch pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, pour atteindre d\u00e9sormais les 143 ch. Ceci a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendu possible entre autres gr\u00e2ce aux modifications \u00e0 un agrandissement des soupapes d\u2019\u00e9chappement et une gestion moteur optimis\u00e9e. La partie-cycle n\u2019\u00e9volue que tr\u00e8s peu puisque seul l\u2019angle de chasse est ramen\u00e9 \u00e0 25\u00b0.
