Encha\u00eenement des courbes, pilotage sportif ou cool, le maxi-scooter ne risque pas de vous trahir.<br \/> Le nec plus ultra du Burgman 650 est en fait sa boite de vitesses. Utilisable en 3 fonction,  ils se changent directement au guidon, en roulant, par une simple pression du pouce : le mode automatique qui monte jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 7000t r\/min environ, le Power Mode (automatique \u00e9galement) qui autorise 7500 tr\/mn de plus pour une conduite plus sportive et enfin le mode manuel qui permet d&rsquo;atteindre la zone rouge \u00e0 8500 tr\/min en changeant les rapports avec le pouce.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 moteur, on trouve un bicylindre 4T,injection, 2 ACT, 4 soupapes, refroidi par eau. D\u2019une cylindr\u00e9e de 638 cm3, il offre une puissance de 55 ch \u00e0 7000 tr\/mm.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 ch\u00e2ssis, son cadre tubulaire en acier re\u00e7oit \u00e0 l\u2019avant une fourche t\u00e9lescopique offrant un d\u00e9battement de 105 mm et 2 disque de 260 mm, \u00e9triers 2 pistons. A l\u2019arri\u00e8re, on trouve 2 amortisseurs r\u00e9glables avec un d\u00e9battement de 100 mm. Le freinage est assur\u00e9 par un disque de 250 mm, \u00e9triers 2 pistons. <\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, le tableau de bord num\u00e9rique fourni un max de renseignements : (voyants de pression et de niveau d&rsquo;huile, niveau d&rsquo;essence avec indication r\u00e9serve, indication des vidanges param\u00e9trable en concessions&#8230;, compte-tours, indication de le vitesse par chiffres, 2 trips et 1 kilom\u00e9trage total, temp\u00e9rature moteur, horloge). En plus d\u2019un grand coffre sous la selle, d\u2019une contenance 56 litres, qui peut loger deux casques int\u00e9graux, le tablier abrite aussi deux petits vide-poches lat\u00e9raux de 1,4 litres pour les menus objets, et un vide-poches central de 7,2 litres. A noter aussi, la condamnation magn\u00e9tique du contacteur, les r\u00e9troviseurs escamotables, le dosseret de selle pilote mobile sur une plage de 50 mm, le frein de parking, les deux poign\u00e9es passager.
