C\u00f4t\u00e9 look, son allure g\u00e9n\u00e9rale est affin\u00e9e et il re\u00e7oit un phare double optique. Le cadre  est dot\u00e9 de nouveaux renforts lat\u00e9raux optimisant sensiblement sa rigidit\u00e9. Avec 144 km\/h, le Burgman reste un excellent compromis ville et route.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 moteur, on trouve un monocylindre 4T injection, refroidi par eau, simple ACT, 4 soupapes. D\u2019une cylindr\u00e9e de 385 cm3, il offre une puissance de 32 ch \u00e0 8000 tr\/mn.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 ch\u00e2ssis, le cadre tubulaire en acier re\u00e7oit, \u00e0 l\u2019avant, une fourche t\u00e9lescopique avec un d\u00e9battement de 100 mm et 1 frein \u00e0 disque de 260 mm dot\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9triers 4 pistons. A l\u2019arri\u00e8re, on trouve mono-amortisseur r\u00e9glables avec un d\u00e9battement de 100 mm. Le freinage est assur\u00e9 par 1 disque de 210 mm dot\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9triers 2 pistons.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, le Burgman est  l&rsquo;un des plus riches et des int\u00e9ressants du march\u00e9. Ainsi, son coffre de 55 litres peut accueillir sans mal deux casques int\u00e9graux. La bo\u00eete \u00e0 gants de 10 litres situ\u00e9e dans le tablier est suffisamment vaste pour abriter par exemple une mince combinaison de pluie. Le dosseret de selle est ajustable, tandis que le passager b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&rsquo;un dossier et de deux grosses poign\u00e9es lat\u00e9rales. Sa selle est elle-m\u00eame tr\u00e8s accueillante. En outre, le pilote peut facilement ajuster le r\u00e9glage de duret\u00e9 de l&rsquo;amortisseur arri\u00e8re via une mollette tr\u00e8s accessible sur le flanc arri\u00e8re gauche.<br \/> L\u2019instrumentation est particuli\u00e8rement riche : compteur, compte-tours, kilom\u00e9trages partiels  et total, horloge, jauge \u00e0 essence, indicateur de vidange. Le mod\u00e8le 2003 perd son petit volet frontal au profit d&rsquo;une ouverture permanente permettant d&rsquo;optimiser le parcours des filets d&rsquo;air autour de la bulle. Celle-ci offre une protection optimale pour un volume tr\u00e8s raisonnable. Ce scooter est aussi \u00e9quip\u00e9 de deux b\u00e9quilles, d&rsquo;une prise 12 V et d&rsquo;une veilleuse sous la selle.
