Il reprend donc le moteur 500 du X9 mais garde un ch\u00e2ssis Gilera. Puissant ce GT a un excellent comportement routier et Gilera a en effet beaucoup travaill\u00e9 pour optimiser le cadre, en suspendant le moteur oscillant \u00e0 un seul pivot sup\u00e9rieur plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;\u00e0 des biellettes et \u00e0 un faux cadre comme sur le X9, ce qui apporte moins de vibrations dans les poign\u00e9es. Le pilote peut aussi r\u00e9gler l\u2019assiette du scooter gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une biellette situ\u00e9e entre le cadre et l\u2019amortisseur arri\u00e8re.  <br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 moteur, on trouve un monocylindre injection 4T, refroidi par eau, 1 ACT, 4 soupapes. D\u2019une cylindr\u00e9e de 460 cm3, il offre une puissance de 40,1 ch  \u00e0 7500 tr\/mm.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 ch\u00e2ssis, son treillis tubulaire en acier re\u00e7oit \u00e0 l\u2019avant une fourche hydraulique offrant un d\u00e9battement de 109 mm et 2 disques de 200 mm. A l\u2019arri\u00e8re, on trouve 1 mono-amortisseur r\u00e9glable avec un d\u00e9battement de 90 mm. Le freinage est assur\u00e9 par 1 disque  de 240 mm.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement,  Inhabituel, le tunnel central abrite des sorties d&rsquo;\u00e9vacuation d&rsquo;air chaud qui permettraient les mois d&rsquo;hiver de r\u00e9chauffer les jambes du pilote. Le coffre est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;une lumi\u00e8re de courtoisie et peut loger un jet. Il comprend une prise \u00e9lectrique 12 V et offre un acc\u00e8s direct aux fusibles. L&rsquo;ouverture de la selle est actionn\u00e9e au contact et par un syst\u00e8me de t\u00e9l\u00e9commande int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans la cl\u00e9 de contact qui commande aussi un tr\u00e8s utile syst\u00e8me anti-d\u00e9marrage \u00e9lectronique. les rangements sont compl\u00e9t\u00e9s par deux petits compartiments int\u00e9gr\u00e9s de part et d&rsquo;autre de la planche de bord. L\u2019instrumentation est moderne avec un bloc digital reprenant les fonctions ordinateur contenues sur le X9  : compteur, compte-tours, fen\u00eatre \u00e0 cristaux liquides pour le niveau de carburant, la temp\u00e9rature moteur, la tension de batterie, la consommation moyenne et instantan\u00e9e, l&rsquo;autonomie, le kilom\u00e9trage total et partiel, la vitesse moyenne et maximum atteinte, l&rsquo;heure, la date et les interventions programm\u00e9es d&rsquo;entretien.
