Si le Monarch n\u2019est pas vraiment une nouveaut\u00e9, il garde quand une place honorable dans la cat\u00e9gorie GT en raison de son prix et de ses prestations.<br \/> C\u00f4te moteur, on trouve un monocylindre 4T, inspir\u00e9 du Majesty 250, refroidi par air, simple ACT, 2 soupapes. D\u2019une cylindr\u00e9e de 124,6 cm3, ce moteur a du mal \u00e0 tra\u00eener ce gros ch\u00e2ssis.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 ch\u00e2ssis, le treillis tubulaire en acier est muni, \u00e0 l\u2019avant, d\u2019une fourche hydraulique offrant un grand d\u00e9battement  et d\u2019un large frein \u00e0 disque. A l\u2019arri\u00e8re, on trouve de 2 amortisseurs r\u00e9glables. Le syst\u00e8me de freinage est assur\u00e9 par un disque.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, on trouve une tr\u00e8s belle selle \u201cpullman\u201d \u00e9quip\u00e9e de dosserets, un plancher plat, un coffre sous la selle pouvant accueillir 2 jets et un porte-paquets.
