Motoris\u00e9e par le 4 cylindres en ligne 4 temps refroidi par eau de 1157 cm3, la K 1200 SR d\u00e9veloppe 167 ch \u00e0 10 250 tr\/mn pour un couple de 130 Nm \u00e0 8 250 tr\/mn ce qui correspond \u00e0 la version libre de la K 1200 S. La version France est brid\u00e9e \u00e0 107 ch pour 110 Nm. BMW annonce une vitesse maxi de plus de 300 km\/h, une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 2,8 s et une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de 0 \u00e0 200 km\/h en 8,2 s, bluffant ! D\u2019un point de vue modification apport\u00e9e sur ce concept bike, hormis la peinture sp\u00e9cifique <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/bmw\/index.html\">BMW<\/a> Motorrad Motosport Venom et le chronom\u00e8tre Altano Fun, on constate une monte pneumatique slick Michelin, un frein avant sign\u00e9 Brembo Superbike, un car\u00e9nage en carbone de CFP, des commandes recul\u00e9es en aluminium taill\u00e9 dans la masse sign\u00e9es Gilles Tooling, une visserie en titane Lightech, un \u00e9chappement Laser Hotcam en titane\u2026 le tout pour un poids de 195 kg contre 222 kg pour la version de s\u00e9rie.
