D\u00e8s sa premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e de commercialisation, ce nouveau roadster sportif au couple g\u00e9n\u00e9reux a suscit\u00e9 un int\u00e9r\u00eat majeur aupr\u00e8s des utilisateurs \u00e0 la recherche de nouvelles sensations. La combinaison exclusive d\u2019un moteur bicylindre en V d\u00e9livrant un couple tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 et d\u2019un cadre compact et sportif g\u00e9n\u00e8re un agr\u00e9ment imm\u00e9diat. La sonorit\u00e9 et le caract\u00e8re du moteur garantissent \u00e9galement un plaisir unique. Le concept MT-0S Sports explore de nouvelles voies, inspir\u00e9es par la philosophie MT, et perp\u00e9tue le th\u00e8me du \u2018Torque Sports\u2019 (\u2018Couple Sport\u2019) dans une direction plus sportive. Les ing\u00e9nieurs de Yamaha se sont pench\u00e9s sur la MT-01 afin d\u2019en optimiser les performances tout en pr\u00e9servant les qualit\u00e9s naturelles de cette machine, \u00e0 savoir l\u2019agr\u00e9ment qu\u2019elle offre gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son couple ainsi que son look minimaliste et m\u00e9canique. Afin d\u2019atteindre cet objectif, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de design a apport\u00e9 des modifications significatives au niveau de la partie ch\u00e2ssis et du car\u00e9nage tout en conservant \u00e0 l\u2019identique le puissant moteur de 1 670 cm3 \u00e0 refroidissement par air. La MT-0S est dot\u00e9e d\u2019un nouveau semi-car\u00e9nage en guise de saute-vent, ainsi que d\u2019un nouveau r\u00e9servoir plus volumineux et d\u2019une section arri\u00e8re garnie de sorties d\u2019\u00e9chappement visibles sous la selle, garantissant un poids r\u00e9duit, et qui offrent \u00e9galement une sensation plus sportive. De larges tubulures d\u2019admission plongent dans le gros bicylindre en V, exprimant son caract\u00e8re puissant et contribuant \u00e9galement \u00e0 recentrer les masses. Et toujours pour optimiser les performances de la machine, elle b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de nouvelles jantes avant et arri\u00e8re, d\u2019un pneu arri\u00e8re large et d\u2019un nouveau bras oscillant. Le nouveau concept MT-0S affiche ainsi un look \u00e0 la fois dynamique et agressif tandis que ce bicylindre en V \u00e0 temp\u00e9rament sportif demeure simple et \u00e9l\u00e9gant.
