Ce moteur lui autorise une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 2.8 s, le 400 m d\u00e9part arr\u00eat\u00e9 en moins de 12 s et le 1000 m d\u00e9part arr\u00eat\u00e9 en moins de 22 s et une vitesse maxi de 230 km\/h !!! Le r\u00e9servoir fait heureusement 25 l car la Rocket III est un peu gloutonne avec une consommation de 7 l aux 100 kms \u00e0 vitesse l\u00e9gale et surtout bien au-del\u00e0 lorsque le pilote taquine la poign\u00e9e des gaz. Le moteur de la Rocket III est avare en sensations, se rapprochant d\u2019une certaine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2005\/06\/suzuki_gsxr_130.html\">Hayabusa<\/a>, c\u2019est pour dire, mais il sait se faire discret en sonorit\u00e9 en dessous des 3 000 tr\/mn, peut \u00eatre un peu trop, seuil avant que la furie du couple monstrueux ne se manifeste. Pour encaisser le tout, Triumph a heureusement pr\u00e9vu une partie-cycle adapt\u00e9e avec un cadre multi-tubulaire en acier, une fourche t\u00e9l\u00e9hydraulique invers\u00e9e de 43 mm, une suspension arri\u00e8re compos\u00e9e de deux amortisseurs lat\u00e9raux, un frein avant deux disques de 320 mm avec \u00e9triers \u00e0 4 pistons et un frein arri\u00e8re \u00e0 disque de 316 mm avec \u00e9trier \u00e0 2 pistons. Ces freins arr\u00eatent convenablement les 320 kg \u00e0 sec de ce monstre m\u00e9canique, et c\u2019est tant mieux ! Les pneus sont du m\u00eame acabit avec une dimension de 150 mm \u00e0 l\u2019avant et 240 mm \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, mont\u00e9s sur des jantes de respectivement 17 et 16 pouces, tout simplement \u00e9normes !!!
