Le moteur a certainement \u00e9t\u00e9 revu pour offrir plus de couple dans les bas r\u00e9gimes afin d\u2019aller en ad\u00e9quation avec une utilisation typ\u00e9e roadster.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 partie-cycle, on retrouve un cadre p\u00e9rim\u00e9trique en aluminium moul\u00e9 sous pression, une fourche t\u00e9l\u00e9hydraulique invers\u00e9e, un monoamortisseur, un frein avant deux disques de 320 mm avec \u00e9triers \u00e0 4 pistons et un frein arri\u00e8re \u00e0 disque de 245 mm avec \u00e9triers \u00e0 2 pistons.<br \/> Autres changements notables, les jantes semblent all\u00e9g\u00e9es, le bras oscillant en aluminium repris de la R1, l\u2019angle de chasse r\u00e9duit de 1\u00b0, la chasse augment\u00e9e de 5 mm, l&#8217;empattement augment\u00e9 de 10 mm, la hauteur de selle passe \u00e0 815 mm et une sortie d\u2019\u00e9chappement singe l\u2019esprit de celle \u00e9quipant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2005\/08\/suzuki_gsxr_100.html\">le GSX-R 1000<\/a> depuis le mod\u00e8le 2005. L\u2019esth\u00e9tique de la nouvelle Fazer 1000 reprend les traits de la petite FZ6 en plus gros et plus m\u00e9chant avec le cadre compl\u00e8tement noir qui lui va \u00e0 merveille.
