Pourtant \u00e0 l\u2019exemple de notre jeune biker, il \u00e9tait quand m\u00eame possible de donner \u00e0 cette b\u00e9cane un peu d\u00e9su\u00e8te un air d\u2019aventure.<br \/> Passionn\u00e9 de chopper et ne voulant pas acheter un tas de plastique made in Japan pour ressembler \u00e0 un hells angel en culotte courte, notre motard s\u2019est arr\u00eat\u00e9 devant une Suzuki 125 GN, trouvant en elle un potentiel int\u00e9ressant : un moteur robuste et facile d\u2019entretien et surtout des garde-boue chrom\u00e9s.<br \/> Notre ami a donc commenc\u00e9 par d\u00e9sosser l\u2019engin et face \u00e0 un cadre style \u201cfil de fer barbel\u00e9\u201d, il s\u2019est demand\u00e9 comment donner \u00e0 cette moto un look original et tr\u00e8s personnel.<br \/> La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape fut donc de chercher ailleurs ce qu\u2019il n\u2019avait pas sous la main. Son choix se porta sur la Yamaha 535 Virago qui comportait pas mal de pi\u00e8ces adaptables sur la Suzuki. Il contacta donc un casseur en Allemagne et acheta les 3\/4 de cette Yamaha.<br \/> Il entreprit ensuite de rehausser la fourche de 10 cm et les suspensions arri\u00e8res de 8 cm. Il rabaissa l\u2019axe central du cadre pour y loger le r\u00e9servoir  afin de casser la ligne trop rigide de la GN d\u2019origine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.shared\/image.html?\/photos\/uncategorized\/susuki125gn_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Susuki125gn_2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/images\/susuki125gn_2.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"375\"  style=\"float: left;margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tape suivante fut de modifier totalement la t\u00eate de fourche. Il y pla\u00e7a le guidon \u201ccornes de vache\u201d de la Virago en le rehaussant de 8 cm. Le pare-brise, le phare chrom\u00e9 et les clignotants donn\u00e8rent \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble un air plus cool. Il modifia ensuite le cadre arri\u00e8re pour y loger la selle, le pouffe passager, le porte paquet et les clignotants. Notre biker termina la finition du look par l\u2019adjonction de quelques carters chrom\u00e9s judicieusement plac\u00e9s de par et d\u2019autre du chopper.<br \/> Comme il \u00e9tait tout \u00e0 fait hors de question d\u2019avoir une b\u00e9cane qui rame lamentablement, notre ami s\u2019attaqua au c\u0153ur de l\u2019engin : le moteur.<br \/> Premi\u00e8re op\u00e9ration, l\u2019aiguille du gicleur principal a vu sa taille doubl\u00e9e et le pot d\u2019\u00e9chappement s\u2019est vu soulager de ses chicanes. Enfin la distribution a vu son pignon de sortie de boite modifi\u00e9 pour pouvoir tirer plus long, r\u00e9sultat le chopper qui gagne au passage pr\u00e8s de 6 chevaux, permet de tenir le 110 en 4e et 130 en 5e.<br \/> Si \u00e0 l\u2019origine la Suzuki 125 GN \u00e9tait consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme un utilitaire \u00e0 usage urbain. Les rapports longs et le large guidon et le louvoiement d\u00fb \u00e0 la longueur de la fourche donnent quelques soucis. Bref, ce chopper n\u2019a plus grand chose \u00e0 faire en ville. C\u2019est donc sur la route que la machine se sent le mieux.  Les pneus d\u2019origines ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9s par des pneus plus larges, le chopper a donc un tr\u00e8s bon comportement routier, notamment dans l\u2019encha\u00eenement des trajectoires rapides. La puissance est franche et permet de d\u00e9passer un v\u00e9hicule roulant \u00e0 90 km\/h sans le moindre risque. Si les suspensions  de la GN ne sont pas tr\u00e8s performantes, le confort est nettement am\u00e9lior\u00e9 avec le si\u00e8ge moelleux de la Yamaya 535 Virago. Pourtant deux petits probl\u00e8mes g\u00e2chent un peu la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 de la b\u00e9cane : les freins non-modifi\u00e9s, peu efficaces, peuvent faire peur si on en prend pas l\u2019habitude et la consommation n\u2019a malheureusement plus rien \u00e0 voir avec la GN.
