Le Super Duke joue donc l\u2019agressivit\u00e9 \u00e0 outrance ne serait-se que par sa couleur orange flamboyante. <br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, la selle s&rsquo;ouvre, difficilement, \u00e0 partir de la serrure plac\u00e9e dessus justement. On d\u00e9couvre alors un espace r\u00e9duit, juste bon \u00e0 abriter un pantalon de pluie et un bloc-disque. Aucun antivol ne passe et uniquement certaines petites cha\u00eenes. Il n\u2019y a ni  porte-paquet ni de crochets, la Super Duke 990 n&rsquo;est pas vraiment faite pour le voyage. Par contre, le r\u00e9servoir s&rsquo;av\u00e8re finalement plus pratique pour accrocher une sacoche, en s&rsquo;aidant \u00e9ventuellement du cadre treillis pour les attaches.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 moteur on retrouve un bicylindre en V maison \u00e0 75\u00b0, 4 temps, 999,8 cm3, al\u00e9sage 101 mm x course 62,4 mm, refroidi par eau, 2 ACT et 4 soupapes\/cyl., injection \u00e9lectronique diam. 48 mm, bo\u00eete 6 vitesses, transmission par cha\u00eene<br \/> d\u2019une puissance de 120 ch. Les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations sont si franches qu\u2019il devient tr\u00e8s difficile de s\u2019accrocher au guidon ou de ne pas partir en wheeling. La solution reste de se fondre int\u00e9gralement \u00e0 la machine et de profiter un max des possibilit\u00e9s de la machine. Tr\u00e8s alaise dans les lacets, si on ne joue pas trop avec la poign\u00e9e des gaz, le V-twin r\u00e9pond instantan\u00e9ment en sortie de virages et la boite, bien \u00e9tag\u00e9e, est pr\u00e9cise et douce.  Seule ombre au tableau, des vibrations dans les repose pieds qui rendent les trajets autoroutiers p\u00e9nibles .<br \/> Conclusion, si vous aimez le caract\u00e8re tremp\u00e9 des bicylindres, la KTM 990 Super Duke est pour vous \u00e0 condition que vous soyez un motard confirm\u00e9.
