Avec un volume de 56 litres et deux ouvertures distinctes, le coffre du Piaggio donne la possibilit\u00e9 de ranger deux casques int\u00e9graux ou une raquette de tennis. <br \/> Le X8 est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un  mono cylindre, 4 temps, Moteur \u00a0\u00bb leader\u00a0\u00bb de Piaggio \u00e0 4 soupapes avec SAS et \u00e9chappement catalytique. D\u2019 une puissance de 15 chevaux \u00e0 10 000 tr\/m, le scooter offre une vitesse maxi de l\u2019ordre de 105 km\/h.<br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 ch\u00e2ssis, on retrouve un cadre a double-berceau fait de tubes d &lsquo;acier. Le train avant re\u00e7oit une fourche hydraulique de 35 mm de diam\u00e8tre et un seul frein \u00e0 disque de 260 mm en acier.  Le train arri\u00e8re est tenu par deux amortisseurs \u00e0 double effet\u00a0 r\u00e9glables en\u00a0 quatre positions et re\u00e7oit un frein \u00e0 disque de 240 mm en acier. <br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, le scooter est plut\u00f4t riche. Le tableau de bord inclut un tachym\u00e8tre, des indicateurs de niveau de carburant et de temp\u00e9rature, une horloge, un compteur de kilom\u00e9triques partiel et total. Le X8 est aussi \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;une prise 12V pour recharger un t\u00e9l\u00e9phone portable et pour facilit\u00e9 son stationnement, le Piaggio X8 est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;une double b\u00e9quille (une lat\u00e9rale et une centrale ).<\/p>\n<p>Sur la route, bien que sa sp\u00e9cification premi\u00e8re soit urbaine, le X8 ne pose aucun soucis. En ville, il souffre un peu d\u2019un manque de puissance au d\u00e9marrage mais reste facile \u00e0 piloter dans le flot de la circulation.
