De ce c\u00f4t\u00e9 l\u00e0, cela pla\u00eet ou ne pla\u00eet pas. Pour la partie cycle, on remarque tr\u00e8s rapidement ses roues de 16 pouces qui doivent probablement l\u2019handicaper en ville. <br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 moteur, la machine est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un monocylindre de 460 cm3 4 temps \u00e0 injection \u00e9lectronique. D\u2019une puissance de 39 ch \u00e0 7250 tr\/mn, l\u2019Aprilia se d\u00e9fend bien m\u00eame si il reste un peu mou \u00e0 bas r\u00e9gime.<br \/> Au niveau freinage, L\u2019adjonction de l\u2019ABS renforce son image d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 sur toutes surfaces et m\u00eame par temps de pluie.<br \/> Sur route,  le scooter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2005\/08\/_aprilia_500_at.html\">Aprilia<\/a> se comporte relativement bien si l\u2019on oublie une l\u00e9g\u00e8re sensibilit\u00e9 au vent et au rev\u00eatement. Sur autoroute, ses 39 ch l\u2019emm\u00e8ne ais\u00e9ment \u00e0 150 km\/h compteur (soit 130 km\/h chrono). le pilote est bien \u00e0 l&rsquo;abri du vent et de la pluie. Le tablier g\u00e9n\u00e8re peu de remous, le t\u00eate de fourche prend soin du buste et des mains, seule la t\u00eate se trouvant confront\u00e9e directement aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments (doubl\u00e9 d&rsquo;une pression a\u00e9rodynamique dans le dos \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0grande vitesse\u00a0\u00bb, d&rsquo;ailleurs peu g\u00eanante). <br \/> C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, l\u2019Aprilia Scarabeo 500 ABS ne poss\u00e8de pas de coffre sous la selle mais d\u2019un top case g\u00e9n\u00e9reux ou l\u2019on peut ais\u00e9ment ranger deux casques int\u00e9graux.
