De par son petit gabarit , l\u2019Aprilia Atlantic Sprint fait davantage penser \u00e0 un 400, voire m\u00eame \u00e0 250 plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 un 500cc. Directement d\u00e9riv\u00e9 du 125, il en reprend sa silhouette g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Le cockpit de l\u2019Aprilia b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une jolie peinture m\u00e9tallis\u00e9e. La planche de bord est simple mais efficace et lisible. Elle comprend le niveau d\u2019essence, t\u00e9moin de passage en r\u00e9serve, jauge de temp\u00e9rature et horloge. Il manque toutefois un compte-tours pour contr\u00f4ler le r\u00e9gime moteur. Contrairement au <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/2005\/08\/honda_600_sylve.html\">600 Silverwing<\/a>, la place sous la selle n\u2019est pas g\u00e9ante. Toutefois, un anneau fix\u00e9 sous le tablier permettra de transporter un sac bien que le plancher ne soit pas plat. On appr\u00e9ciera \u00e9galement le porte-paquet qui acceptera un top-case optionnel, sans aucune platine.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois, le contact mis, l\u2019Aprilia Atlantic Sprint d\u00e9voile un caract\u00e8re tr\u00e8s pointu et l\u2019on se dit qu\u2019il porte tr\u00e8s bien son nom. Avec son moteur de 37.4 ch et son poids contenu de 190 kg, les performances sont de tr\u00e8s haut niveau, notamment \u00e0 l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration mais \u00e9galement en vitesse de pointe. L\u2019Atlantic n\u2019a donc aucun souci pour s\u2019\u00e9lancer aux feux rouges et fournit par la suite des reprises tr\u00e8s efficaces en r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 la moindre sollicitation. Bien second\u00e9 par son moteur tonique, l\u2019Atlantic se r\u00e9v\u00e8le aussi particuli\u00e8rement agile en usage urbain gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un rayon de braquage r\u00e9duit. Vif et vigoureux de mani\u00e8re plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, il p\u00eache toutefois par des suspensions un peu trop fermes mais \u00e9galement et surtout par un dosseret de selle mal con\u00e7u qui heurte le bas du dos \u00e0 la moindre asp\u00e9rit\u00e9 de la route.
