D\u2019ailleurs son nom de code de projet \u00e9tait Revolution, et il est le fruit du croisement entre un moteur de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/superbike\/index.html\">Superbike<\/a> et l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie du constructeur de voiture sportive Porsche. Le r\u00e9sultat est int\u00e9ressant puisque ce dernier custom est le mieux motoris\u00e9 de la gamme Harley. En effet, son Twin \u00e0 60\u00b0 4 temps (refroidi par air !) de 1130 cm3 d\u00e9veloppe 100 ch \u00e0 8500 tr\/mn en version brid\u00e9e et 115 ch en version libre non vendue en France, pour un couple de 105 Nm.<br \/>Il est en effet caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par beaucoup de couple et de nervosit\u00e9 dans les bas r\u00e9gimes, mais malheureusement il s\u2019essouffle assez vite. De m\u00eame, sa sonorit\u00e9 vous enchantera tandis que sa frugalit\u00e9 vous \u00e9nervera, une vraie Harley en somme. Le r\u00e9servoir ne fait que 14 L, il faut donc pr\u00e9voir de s\u2019arr\u00eater souvent lors des longs parcours routiers. N\u00e9anmoins, n\u2019esp\u00e9rez pas affoler les chronos puisque la belle am\u00e9ricaine se contente d\u2019un modeste 210 km\/h en vitesse de pointe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.shared\/image.html?\/photos\/uncategorized\/v2_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"158\"  alt=\"V2_1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/images\/v2_1.jpg\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;float: left\" \/><\/a>Mais le moteur n\u2019est pas le seul point fort de la V-Rod, puisque comme toute Harley qui se respecte, celle-ci se devait d\u2019avoir une gueule reconnaissable entre toutes. Ainsi, ce custom parait futuriste avec sa longue ligne muscl\u00e9e \u00e9chapp\u00e9e d\u2019un manga, son faux r\u00e9servoir \u00e9lanc\u00e9 puisque le vrai se situe sous la selle et son gros pneu arri\u00e8re de 180 mm de large. A cela, ses concepteurs ont bien s\u00fbr ajout\u00e9 une pinc\u00e9e de chrome, une position de conduite Harley et le tour \u00e9tait jou\u00e9. La partie-cycle est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able, rassurante et joueuse m\u00eame si on ne peut gu\u00e8re allez bien loin en prise d\u2019angle sur un custom. Elle est compos\u00e9e d\u2019un cadre tubulaire en acier \u00e0 double berceau, d\u2019une suspension avant \u00e0 fourche t\u00e9l\u00e9hydraulique de style dragster inclin\u00e9e \u00e0 38\u00b0, d\u2019une suspension arri\u00e8re \u00e0 2 combin\u00e9s, d\u2019un frein avant 2 disques de 292 mm avec \u00e9triers \u00e0 4 pistons et d\u2019un frein arri\u00e8re \u00e0 disque de 292 mm avec \u00e9trier \u00e0 4 pistons. Ce syst\u00e8me de freinage d&rsquo;origine Brembo est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent un des points forts de cette am\u00e9ricaine, puisqu\u2019il est en mesure de stopper les 270 kg \u00e0 sec de la machine (mont\u00e9 \u00e0 partir des mod\u00e8les 2006).<br \/>En conclusion, la V-Rod est LA Harley-Davidson du 21\u00e8me si\u00e8cle que tout le monde attendait impatiemment depuis longtemps. Cependant, son utilisation reste compliqu\u00e9e en ville \u00e0 cause de son rayon de braquage limit\u00e9, sa position de conduite ainsi que l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019esprit g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la moto reste trop typ\u00e9 Harley, qualit\u00e9 ou d\u00e9faut, chacun se fera une id\u00e9e \u00e0 son guidon, mais elle reste quand m\u00eame un jouet pour biker averti et ais\u00e9 avec son prix avoisinant les 19 400 \u20ac.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La derni\u00e8re n\u00e9e de Harley-Davidson semble tout droit sortie des r\u00eaves des ing\u00e9nieurs de Milwaukee puisque son moteur est une petite r\u00e9volution pour la firme.
