Cherchant \u00e0 se diversifier, le nom changea pour Nippon Gakki, et la production embrasa une vaste gamme d\u2019instruments de musiques. Le logo n\u2019\u00e9tant pas compos\u00e9 de diapasons par hasard.<br \/>La Deuxi\u00e8me Guerre mondiale la verra, dans son effort de guerre, abandonner la musique pour le son moins harmonieux de la fabrication des h\u00e9lices d\u2019avions. La paix revenue, Yamaha cherchera \u00e0 diversifier encore plus sa production, explorant diverses avenues, de la machine \u00e0 coudre au triporteur, pour finalement envisager la motocyclette.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9j\u00e0 largement copi\u00e9 en ces ann\u00e9es d\u2019apr\u00e8s-guerre, comme on l\u2019a vu pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, Yamaha choisit donc lui aussi la 125 RT de DKW comme inspiration.<br \/>Rompus \u00e0 l\u2019ajustement de pr\u00e9cision, les ing\u00e9nieurs de Yamaha r\u00e9ussiront \u00e0 faire de leur YA-1 une machine pr\u00e9cise, vive et fiable, non seulement am\u00e9liorant l\u2019original, mais r\u00e9ussissant, d\u00e8s leur premier essai, \u00e0 y incorporer l\u2019esprit Yamaha. Loin de l\u2019aust\u00e9rit\u00e9 allemande, la petite YA-1 avec sa robe 2 tons, marron et ivoire, faisait bande \u00e0 part dans un monde o\u00f9 toutes les couleurs \u00e9taient possibles, pourvu que ce soit le noir.<br \/>Surnomm\u00e9e la libellule rouge (AkaTomba), ce petit deux temps de 123 cm3 avec sa bo\u00eete \u00e0 4 rapports et son r\u00e9servoir de 13 litres, connut rapidement du succ\u00e8s en course, ce qui accrut sa popularit\u00e9.<br \/>D\u2019autres mod\u00e8les suivront dont un 175 cm3, toujours selon un design \u00abemprunt\u00e9 \u00bb, mais am\u00e9lior\u00e9, puis un 250 cm3 dont l\u2019inspiration cette fois-ci venait d\u2019un autre constructeur allemand, Adler.<br \/>La particularit\u00e9 du MB250 allemand \u00e9tait un 2 temps \u00e0 2 cylindres. Yamaha fut le premier constructeur japonais \u00e0 s\u2019y frotter, y allant du m\u00eame souffle de son propre embrayage et dynamo pour un moteur plus compact.<\/p>\n<p>Impliqu\u00e9 depuis ses d\u00e9buts en course, Yamaha y aura beaucoup de succ\u00e8s, succ\u00e8s qui continu encore avec un championnat en Moto GP cette ann\u00e9e.<br \/>Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 60, ce sera l\u2019exportation qui consolidera la place de Yamaha comme un des leaders des 2 roues, car m\u00eame si Honda vend plus de motos, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yamaha-motor.fr\/univers-yamaha\/fun\/pliage\/2005_yzr-m1.jsp\">Yamaha gagne plus de courses<\/a>.<br \/>En Am\u00e9rique seulement, Yamaha exportait 12,000 motos en 1962, mais 2 ans plus tard, ce chiffre passait \u00e0 87,000 unit\u00e9s.<br \/>En 1973, Yamaha franchissait la barre du million d\u2019unit\u00e9s fabriqu\u00e9, et le groupe Yamaha pr\u00e9voir des ventes pour 2008 de 1 milliard 830 millions de dollars.
