Selon les dires de Jim Ziemer, chef de la direction de Harley-Davidson, cela permettra \u00e0 la compagnie de Milwaukee de poursuivre sa croissance en Europe, profitant d\u2019un r\u00e9seau et d\u2019une banni\u00e8re d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien implant\u00e9s. Aucun changement \u00e0 la direction de MV Agusta n\u2019est pour l\u2019instant envisag\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Cela dit, il est maintenant int\u00e9ressant de sp\u00e9culer sur l\u2019avenir des marques impliqu\u00e9es dans cette transaction. Harley-Davidson est un g\u00e9ant, ayant vendu plus de 300,000 motos \u00e0 travers le monde en 2007, incluant la Chine o\u00f9 il cherche aussi \u00e0 s\u2019implanter. De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, MV Agusta, Gagiva et Buell, malgr\u00e9 de confortables niches, sont plus fragiles en terme de stabilit\u00e9, voire de p\u00e9rennit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Difficile de croire que seul l\u2019espace en concessions sera partag\u00e9. L\u2019expertise se trouve maintenant diversifi\u00e9e, et la compagnie Harley-Davidson ressemble un peu plus \u00e0 ses concurrents japonais dans son offre motos, avec de petites cylindr\u00e9es (Cagiva), des routi\u00e8res (Harley), des citadines (Buell) et des sports, supersports (MV Agusta).<br \/>Reste \u00e0 voir si cette famille reconstitu\u00e9e, principalement pour des raisons financi\u00e8res, saura mettre en commun forces et expertises.<\/p>\n<p>Ce mariage va forc\u00e9ment demander l\u2019abn\u00e9gation de l\u2019un des partenaires, et comme la dot de la mari\u00e9e tient plus \u00e0 son charme et son sex-appeal qu\u2019\u00e0 son portefeuille, il est facile d\u2019imaginer qui devra faire preuve d\u2019humilit\u00e9.
