Ne l\u00e9sinant pas sur la qualit\u00e9, il s&rsquo;attacha \u00e0 cr\u00e9e un produit impeccable au niveau de la finition, mais surtout ultra performante. Au fil des ann\u00e9es, il \u00e9tablira d&rsquo;ailleurs bon nombre de records de vitesse, qu&rsquo;il utilisera abondamment pour mousser la notori\u00e9t\u00e9 de sa marque.<\/p>\n<p>Les Rolls-Royce de la moto, comme il se plaisait \u00e0 dire, n&rsquo;\u00e9taient livr\u00e9es \u00e0 son propri\u00e9taire qu&rsquo;apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 intensivement test\u00e9es, sinon, elles retournaient en atelier.<br \/>Personnalis\u00e9 et ajust\u00e9 selon le gabarit du pilote, seul les plus nantis pouvait se payer une \u00abBrough Superior\u00bb, ce qui explique qu&rsquo;en 20 ans de production, seulement 3000 motos prirent la route. \u00c0 ce jour, au moins 1000 existe toujours, et en bon \u00e9tat, commande des prix toujours aussi inaccessibles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.shared\/image.html?\/photos\/uncategorized\/2008\/06\/25\/image.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"265\"  src=\"http:\/\/www.leblogmoto.com\/images\/2008\/06\/25\/image.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Le SS100 avec son <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/JA_Prestwich_Industries_Ltd\">moteur JAP<\/a> de 998 cm3 pouvait atteindre les 160 km\/h, et est le mod\u00e8le phare de la gamme \u00abBrough Superior\u00bb. Pas \u00e9tonnant donc, que le nouveau propri\u00e9taire du nom, d\u00e9sire reprendre la production de ce mod\u00e8le. \u00abBritish only Austria\u00bb \u00e9tant d\u00e9j\u00e0 impliqu\u00e9 dans la restauration et la vente de pi\u00e8ce de motos britannique d&rsquo;\u00e9poque. Leurs intentions, d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s ce que j&rsquo;ai cru comprendre, sont de s&rsquo;inspirer d&rsquo;un SS100 de 1927, et d&rsquo;en faire un clone \u00e0 partir de pi\u00e8ces usin\u00e9es selon les technologies modernes actuelles. Il n&rsquo;est donc pas question de restaurations, ce qu&rsquo;ils font d\u00e9j\u00e0 par ailleurs, ni de r\u00e9interpr\u00e9tations, mais de motos neuves estampill\u00e9es 1927. Il faudra donc s&rsquo;attendre \u00e0 un m\u00eame soin apport\u00e9 \u00e0 la finition et \u00e0 la personnalisation, avec le prix, toujours \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenant.<\/p>\n<p>La tendance actuelle fon\u00e7ant \u00e0 toute vapeur au pays de la nostalgie, on peut imaginer qu&rsquo;un tel processus, vou\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chec il y a peu, r\u00e9ussisse maintenant.
