Encore plus coupleux selon KTM que la version 2007 (!!). Ce moteur devrait convenir aux trois quarts des clients potentiels et les plus t\u00e9m\u00e9raires opteront pour la version &quot;arrache bras&quot; \u00e9quip\u00e9e du moteur de 525 cm3. Les quads KTM sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;une bo\u00eete de vitesses a 5 rapports et d&rsquo;une marche arri\u00e8re dont la commande est au guidon. Embrayage multi-disques \u00e0 commande hydraulique de s\u00e9rie comme pour les motos.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 480px;text-align: center\"><embed width=\"480\" height=\"360\" src=\"http:\/\/w248.photobucket.com\/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http:\/\/w248.photobucket.com\/albums\/gg180\/ebipbip\/KTM 450 XC\/8ca50e7e.pbw\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\"><\/embed><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/s248.photobucket.com\/albums\/gg180\/ebipbip\/KTM%20450%20XC\/?action=view&amp;current=8ca50e7e.pbw\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Les suspensions sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es de double ressorts et sont r\u00e9glables en pr\u00e9charge, d\u00e9tente et compression. Le mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 est une version US, la version pour l&rsquo;Europe aura des suspensions White Power. Sous le cadre et le train arri\u00e8re les ing\u00e9nieurs de KTM lui ont greff\u00e9 des fonds plat de protection en plexiglas. La largeur des roues \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re est r\u00e9glable d&rsquo;origine \u00e0 plus ou moins 5 cm avec des entretoises. Les roues avant sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es de disques et d&rsquo;\u00e9triers Magura \u00e0 4 pistons, un &quot;simple&quot; disque \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re. <\/p>\n<p>Le guidon est r\u00e9glable en 4 positions avec des t\u00e9s de fourche inversables pour pouvoir s&rsquo;accommoder \u00e0 tout type de gabarit ou de conduite. Un pratique coupe circuit se trouve sur le flanc gauche de la machine, au dessus du r\u00e9servoir de 13,5 litres. D&rsquo;origine KTM a \u00e9quip\u00e9 son quad d&rsquo;un gros r\u00e9servoir pour pouvoir l&rsquo;inscrire en course d&rsquo;endurance sans aucune modification. En d\u00e9veloppant ce quad les ing\u00e9nieurs KTM ont insist\u00e9 sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 pratique pour les m\u00e9caniciens de leurs r\u00e9seaux lors des interventions p\u00e9riodiques mais aussi pour gagner du temps en course. Le bras arri\u00e8re du quad, la couronne de son kit cha\u00eene et les entretoises sur l&rsquo;arbre pour les roues sont chang\u00e9s en moins de 10 minutes en th\u00e9orie par exemple.<\/p>\n<p>Ce quad ultra l\u00e9ger (ch\u00e2ssis tubulaire, colonne de direction en alu,&#8230;) p\u00e8se 163 kg \u00e0 sec (159 pour la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence actuelle de la cat\u00e9gorie, le Yamaha YFZ 450) et il suffit d&rsquo;une personne pour le mettre en position verticale en cas de besoin lors du nettoyage ou d&rsquo;interventions prolong\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"480\" height=\"375\"><param value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/nqDNsgGXoRM\" name=\"movie\" \/>&nbsp;<embed width=\"480\" height=\"375\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/nqDNsgGXoRM\"><\/embed>&nbsp;<\/object><\/p>\n<p>Avec ce quad KTM s&rsquo;attaque directement au march\u00e9 des quads sportifs &quot;pr\u00eats \u00e0 courir&quot; mais surtout au grand public pour les toujours plus nombreux fans de la marque.
