However, while other motor shows didn\u2019t favourise any technologies, the Chinese motor show put the emphasis on electric solutions. The Geely FC-E is powered by a 92bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine and a smaller electric unit which delivers a power output of 40bhp. The figures are similar to that of the Toyota Prius.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/petrol-head\/files\/2012\/07\/2008_geelyfce_061.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"313\"  src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/petrol-head\/files\/2012\/07\/2008_geelyfce_06.jpg\" alt=\"2008_geelyfce_06\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;float: left\" \/><\/a> What\u2019s interesting about the Geely mode is the batteries used to store the energy. Instead of the lithium-ion batteries, the Chinese carmaker has embedded lithium-metal-phosphate batteries, more secured and more stable than the lithium-ions.
