Powered by a 600bhp V12 6.0-litre borrowed from the DBRS9 racecar, the car runs the 0-62 in less than four seconds and hit a top speed of 200 mph.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/petrol-head\/files\/2012\/07\/am_rs_21.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Am_rs_2\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/petrol-head\/files\/2012\/07\/am_rs_2.jpg\" width=\"470\" height=\"311\"  style=\"float: left;margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><\/a><br \/> Engineers worked hard to reduce weight. The car features a new new carbon fiber pieces for the hood and boot lid. The Vantage RS features a front bumper which has cooling ducts for the carbon ceramic brakes, and a retractable rear spoiler. Despite its heavier engine. the RS saves 220 lbs compared to the standard DB9 and weighs 3,520 lbs. The car has a power-to-weight ratio of 375bhp-per-tonne.
